Transnational Education

Developing innovative transnational education models for institutions worldwide.

The future of global higher education.

As demand for high-quality higher education continues to grow worldwide, transnational education (TNE) is reshaping how institutions approach internationalisation. Rather than simply recruiting students from around the world, TNE enables institutions to become truly international - delivering world-class education closer to home through sustainable global partnerships that benefit students, institutions and regional communities alike.

TNE provides governments with access to globally leading education, supporting national human capital development, talent retention, research excellence and long-term economic competitiveness.

For institutions, TNE is becoming an increasingly important part of institutional strategy, helping institutions access sustainable approaches to global engagement, respond to regional skills needs while expanding access to world-class education.

Supporting innovative TNE partnerships.

Every institution has different ambitions, strengths and opportunities. We work collaboratively with our partners to develop TNE models that reflect their strategic priorities and the needs of their students.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý supports a range of TNE models, from international branch campuses and digitally enabled learning to in-country teaching partnerships. Together, we enable institutions to deliver high-quality international education in ways that align with their ambitions and the needs of the markets they serve.

Our transnational education partnerships.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý has supported the University of Southampton in establishing its Delhi campus, the first UGC-approved international branch campus in India under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. A landmark development for UK transnational education, the campus enables students to access the same globally recognised University of Southampton degree in one of the world’s fastest-growing higher education markets.
Building on OIDI’s digital learning platform, Global Hubs combine online learning with in-country teaching and student support delivered through trusted local collaborators. This blended approach enables students to study closer to home while accessing internationally recognised programmes and clear progression opportunities to partner institutions, creating a flexible and accessible model for transnational education.

Creating lasting global impact

Successful transnational education creates meaningful educational ecosystems that connect institutions, students, employers and communities, helping higher education respond to changing global demand, while expanding access to world-class learning.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý is proud to work alongside higher education institutions to develop innovative TNE partnerships that support institutional ambitions and help shape the future of global higher education.
